NORTH ROBINSON, OH – South Central took to Colonel Crawford Saturday afternoon for some non-conference action. After an intense three sets, South Central walked out with a 3-0 sweep.In the first set, the Lady Eagles would put up a tough front as they would stay neck and neck with South Central until 6-6, but then trail behind the rest of the set as South Central won 25-16.The second set saw some improvement from the Lady Eagles as they would tie the game at 17-17, but they still couldn’t hold as they would lose the second set 25-18.The Lady Eagles would put up their best performance in the third and final set, as they would take the game beyond twenty-five points, and force South Central to score twenty-seven points just to finish the set. This would end the game with South Central taking home a 3-0 sweep.UP NEXT:The Lady Eagles (1-14 overall, 0-8 N10) will next travel to take on Upper Sandusky at 6:30 p.m. on Sep. 26 while South Central (11-3 overall, 6-2 Firelands) will travel to Ashland to take on Crestview for some conference action a half-hour later.
