LEXINGTON, OH- Lady Lex Soccer Team defeated Lady Mansfield Christian Lady Flames on Monday night in a non-conference matchup. Lady Lex walked away with a win 12-0. WMFD’s Brian Weaver has a chat with Lady of the Match #21 Allie Parker about Allie’s two-goal performance on Senior Night. Parker said “It felt great, I knew a lot of my family was here. So it was great I could score a couple in the back in the net for them.” Parker also talks about Thursday’s Statement matchup against Madison Lady Rams (7-2-3) (4-0-1) in the Ohio Cardinal Conference. “Yes definitely, Parker said. We have been looking at this game since the beginning of the season. Going into the first games we obviously have the OCC and the district going into our minds, even though we are taking one game at a time, our team has all the OCC games checked off and that’s just the next one, and we’re preparing for it.” Parker also talks about being the next type of club. “We focus one game at a time, We want to take every single game like we can’t underestimate anyone. So we look who is ever next we will take on.” Parker also talks about how her teammates who are not in the starting lineup can really make an impact in the match. “I think it’s very important, we have a lot of first-time players, and a lot of players can play different positions on the field, so it’s really helpful to have depth and a lot of players who are entering the match off the bench can enter into the match and give us energy, goals, and numbers anything we need at that moment and it’s really helpful, and I think these types of games give our team a lot of confidence and a lot of opportunities for those games.”SCORE SUMMARY: Lady Lex Scored Twelve Goals in tonight’s match against The Lady Flames.
